About

About Desert Hills

The neighborhood known as Desert Hills is the area along Carefree Hwy, stretching from just east of I17 to Cave Creek, south to the mountain preserve and north to New River.

Desert Hills is one of the few places in the valley zoned residential and having a minimum lot size of 1 acre.  So many people are building houses in Phoenix Metro in new, very nice and pricey communities, but the houses are nearly touching.  The back yards are small, the garages can barely hold 2 cars and the HOA can tell you where to park you car and what kind of plants you have.

In Desert Hills, having an acre lot with no HOA opens up a world of possibilities.  You can build whatever style of house you like and make it your own.  From a Modern Farmhouse with grass, pool and trees, to a southwest adobe style home with all-natural desert landscaping, it’s up to you.  Do you have toys?  Extra cars? Trailers? RV or a Boat?  Don’t pay a storage yard to keep it for you.  Save the extra money and keep them at home with you where they belong.  Give yourself the extra room your family and pets deserve to stretch their legs and run around the yard.
